Yuki Tsunoda

Tsunoda er født i Japan d. 11. maj 2000.
Efter at have kørt i Gokart siden han var 10, rykkede han i 206 til den japanske Formel 4 klasse, med support fra Honda og debuterede i den hårde juniorklasse, med en 2. plads.
Han blev i Formel 4 til og med 2018, inden det lykkedes for ham at få et FIA Formel 3 sæde, med støtte fra Honda og nu også Red Bull.
I 2020 rykkede han til Formel 2 for Carlin, uden de helt store resultater, men Red Bull så potentialet i den lille japaner og tilbød han flere Formel 1 test dette år.
2021 debuterede han for AlphaTauri, Red Bull juniorholdet, hvor han blev kollega med Pierre Gasly. Han sluttede året som nummer 14 i VM.
2022 var et hårdt år for AlphaTauri, og Tsunoda sluttede nede som nummer 17, igen efter Gasly.
2023 blev et omskifteligt år for holdet. Gasly smuttede til Renault og man valgte at sætte Nyck de Vries ind i stedet. Men Nysk formåede aldrig at få gang i AlphaTauri raceren og blev fyret og erstattet af Daniel Ricciardo, som man håbede kunne finde sin gamle form. Ricciardo blev dog skadet og midlertidig erstattet af Liam Lawson. Tsunoda sluttede som nummer 14.
I 2024 skiftede holdet navn til Visa Cash App RB. Ricciardo startede ved siden af Tsunoda, men da han ikke formåede at leverer varen, blev han igen fyret og denne gang erstattet af Liam Lawson for resten af sæsonen.
For Tsunoda havde 2024 sæsonen et formål. At vise Red Bull at han skulle rykke op i deres første hold og erstatte Sergio Perez. Det lykkedes dog ikke for Tsunoda, der måtte se til, at Lawson fik det sæde, mens han selv fik besked på at blive hvor han var.
2025 bliver nok Tsunodas sidste sæson hos RB.
